Drawing & Annotation

MapPoint has a range of drawing tools that can be used to draw and annotate the map. They can also be used to query pushpin datasets – e.g. “Which of my customers are within this territory shape?“.

The drawing tools are all on the Drawing Toolbar, the small button version of which looks like this:

By default, this toolbar is switched off. Switch it on using the View->Toolbars->Drawing option on the main menu.

In order from left to right, these buttons do the following:

The shape property drop-down buttons (color, thickness, and arrow style) can be used to change the properties of the shape that is currently selected.
