Download the Shape Name Utility
Two distributions are available. The End User distribution consists of an installer, and is intended for end users who do not require the source code. The Source Code distribution is a ZIP archive of the entire source directory. It does not include an installer and has to be built or manually installed.

The Shape Name Utility is distributed under the Berkeley (BSD) license. The runtime includes an installer but no source code. The Source Archive is an archive of all the source code. You will need to manually build it if you wish to install it.
Microsoft® MapPoint® 2002, 2004, or 2006 must be installed before you install the Shape Name Utility. The source code requires Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. It also uses NSIS to build the installer, and Help & Manual 4.5 to create the documentation. NSIS and Help & Manual are only required to build the installation package, and neither are required to build the actual add-in.
