29th June 2015: MPCluster for Maptitude 1.1 released.

MPCluster for MapPoint

Version 1.1 of our cluster analysis product, MPCluster for Maptitude has been released. This version adds the ability to use an external distance table when calculating cluster sizes and spacings. For example you could use actual driving distances (calculated with MileCharter for Maptitude) or you could use actual calculated costs. Due to the finite size of such tables, this option is currently only available for the Hierarchical algorithm set to use Median centers.
Version 1.1 also adds the ability to work with selection sets (i.e. sub-sets of Maptitude data layers); "Allocate unused points to nearest cluster" enabled for Hierarchical clustering; and adds a distance field to the Point Data View.
v1.1 is a free upgrade for users of MPCluster for Maptitude v1.0.

11th May 2015: MileCharter for Maptitude v1.2 released.

MileCharter for Maptitude

MileCharter is a mileage computation tool that can batch calculate mileages (and travel times and cost estimates) for all routes between two groups of pushpins. The Maptitude version includes support for all of Maptitude's road types, and supports the "Find Closest" functionality of the original MapPoint version.
v1.2 adds the ability to apply road speeds as relative adjustments according to road type, e.g. "increase all motorway speeds by +5%". It can also calculate costs using rates defined according to the road type, instead of gross distances; and you can load/save all of the cost and speed road parameters. These road parameter files can then be shared within a project and between colleages. They can also be used with the next version of MPMileage which is due for release next week.
