The examples archive (examples.zip) includes data and map files that are referenced in the MPMileage documentation.
Microsoft® MapPoint® must be installed before you install MPMileage. MPMileage supports MapPoint versions 2002-2010. A suitable database is also required. MPMileage currently supports Microsoft Excel® (1997-2007); Microsoft Access® (1997-2007); and direct ODBC connections.
The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (or later) is also required. This can be downloaded from the Microsoft website (Download Link for .NET 2.0). Note that this is a large (22MB) download but it has been included in Windows Update for a few years, and it comes standard with Windows Vista.
