A Comparison of MPMileage and MileCharter
We have two mileage calculation products for Microsoft MapPoint: MileCharter and MPMileage.
MileCharter is an add-in for MapPoint that calculates mileage tables for Excel. These tables give the distance, travel time, or estimated cost for all routes between two groups of locations. MileCharter also has the ability to only report the closest locations.
MPMileage is a standalone program that processes point-to-point routes. These routes are specified in a database (currently Access or Excel). It runs MapPoint in the background, and can take advantage of modern multi-core cpus for enhanced processing speed.
