The examples archive includes data and map files that are referenced in the MileCharter documentation.
Microsoft® MapPoint® must be installed before you install MileCharter. MapPoint versions 2002-10 are all supported. Microsoft Excel® is also required.
MileCharter v2.10 has a Basic and a Professional License. The differences between the two license levels and the old v1.4 are described on the MileCharter Versions page. Existing users of v1.4 and earlier can upgrade to v2.10 Basic for free. Basic licenses can also be upgraded to the Professional level. Both licenses can be purchased on the purchase page.
If you intend to upgrade from a pre-v2.9 version to v2.9 (or later), you must uninstall MileCharter first. This is because a new installer was introduced with v2.9. The new installation will detect your existing license information.

Version 2.10: Support for Windows 7. Better support for multiple MapPoint add-ins.
Version 2.9: Change of installer. This fixes an installer problem seen in v2.7 and v2.8.
Version 2.8: Option to include overnight stays in the driving time. Missing uninstaller (v2.7 only) fixed.
Version 2.7: Maintenance release. Minor bug fixes.
Version 2.6: Maintenance release. Better support for DEP, and tested with MapPoint 2009.
Version 2.5: Maintenance release. Improvements to the registration process, specifically if RouteWriter is being installed and registered at the same time.
Version 2.4: Maintenance release. Fixes two bugs involving large mileage charts. Users of the Professional License are recommended to upgrade to v2.4.
