After manually adding your pushpins, it is possible to re-position them or delete them. To re-position a pushpin, first select it. Then left-click on the pushpin symbol and drag it to the new position. During this drag process, the mouse cursor will appear as the standard Windows pan/move cursor with four arrows. The original pushpin will remain visible until you complete the move by releasing the mouse button:

You can also delete a pushpin. Do this by selecting the required pushpin, and then pressing the Delete (Del) button on the keyboard.
Both the Move and Delete operations can be undone by selecting Undo on MapPoint’s Edit menu.
Dataset pushpins cannot be moved in this manner. The best way to edit dataset data points is to modify the source database and re-importing the dataset or refreshing the data link.
