@mappingtoolsMapPoint is capable of finding specific locations by searching for street addresses, place names, or geographic coordinates. Locations are found by using the Find dialog box which is displayed by selecting Find on the Tools menu:

Alternatively, you can select the ‘binoculars’ button on the Advanced Toolbar:

As a shortcut, you can type the required address or place in the box on the left and then press the ENTER key or the ‘binoculars’ button. This will display the Find dialog box pre-filled with the search results.
