MapPoint has a number of other map options. Earlier versions of MapPoint had most of these options on the menus, but they were moved to the Options dialog box in MapPoint 2009. Display the Options dialog box by selecting Options from the bottom of the Tools menu. The resulting dialog box will look like this:

The Settings tab on the Options dialog box (MapPoint 2010)
The options are divided into tabs. The Settings tab (above) includes most of the different units that are supported. Distances can be reported in miles or kilometers. Coordinates are usually given in decimal degrees, but degrees/minutes/seconds (e.g. 52°12’03″) can be requested instead. Similarly, the hemisphere can be specified using signs (western and southern hemispheres are negative) or letters (N,S,E,W).
The Map tab lists the map options:

The font size setting in the options dialog box
You can used this panel to change the map style, and to adjust the map font sizes. The relative sizes remain the same, but they can all be made larger or smaller. For example, a country name will always be drawn with a larger font than a city name.
