Download the Back & Forward Utility
Two distributions are available. The End User distribution consists of an installer, and is intended for end users who do not require the source code. The Source Code distribution is a ZIP archive of the entire source directory. It does not include an installer and has to be built or manually installed.

The Back & Forward Utility is distributed under the Berkeley (BSD) license. The runtime includes an installer but no source code. The Source Code distribution is an archive of all the source code. You will need to manually build it if you wish to install it.
Microsoft® MapPoint® 2009 and the Microsoft .NET Framework (2.0 or later) must be installed before you install the Back & Forward Utility. The source code requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.
The Back & Forward Utility will work with later versions of MapPoint (eg. 2010), but there is no reason to do this. The Backward and Forward menu items are only missing from MapPoint 2009. They are implemented correctly in MapPoint 2010.
