Mapping-Tools.Com is owned and operated by Winwaed Software Technology LLC, and is intended to be your one stop source for Microsoft® MapPoint® add-in tools, templates, and services.

If you are unfamiliar with Microsoft MapPoint, we have a page about Microsoft MapPoint and an ever increasing number of articles about using MapPoint. MapPoint is the flagship desktop product in the range of mapping software and services offered by Microsoft. These products also include the consumer Streets & Trips product, as well as online services such as the Microsoft MapPoint Web Service, and Bing Maps.

Our best selling product is the MileCharter add-in. This allows you to quickly and easily calculate mileage charts, travel times, and cost estimates. It is ideal for calculating delivery costs between your service locations and their customers, as well as 'road atlas' style charts. We have recently introduced a complementary mileage computation tool, MPMileage, which computes point-to-point mileages specified by a database.

Another of our products is RouteWriter. RouteWriter is a tool for exporting MapPoint waypoints and matching pushpins to Microsoft Excel whilst maintaining their order. RouteWriter also includes RouteReader which allows the quick creation of routes from pushpins using a pre-determined order.

We also sell a range of third party tools and templates including the popular Pushpin Tool for pushpin management; and the Single State Mapper template for creating maps of individual US States.

Custom Programming

The desktop version of Microsoft MapPoint has a programming interface that allows add-ins, tools, and other customization.
